Pickleball for Kidney Health

Pickleball for Kidney Health is a fun, beginner-friendly community fundraiser that brings together the kidney community, organ donation advocates, and the wider IPOP community for an active afternoon of pickleball, food, and connection. Held in support of The Kidney Foundation - BC & Yukon Branch, this event is designed to create a welcoming space for people to try something new, meet great people, and come together around a cause that touches many lives. Whether you are joining to play, socialize, or simply show your support, the afternoon is all about community, awareness, and making a meaningful impact for those affected by kidney disease through shared experience.

Ticket Includes
Each ticket includes full event entry, one drink ticket, one food ticket (burger plus snacks), one 20-minute beginner-friendly intro pickleball lesson, access to social play, participation in challenge-based activities throughout the event and use of paddles and balls during play. Please bring and wear indoor court shoes. By attending, you are also helping support the Kidney Foundation’s efforts to raise awareness and funds for kidney disease.

Although you are registering for a 20-minute Intro lesson time slot, the full event runs for 4 hours from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You are welcome to arrive anytime during the event and stay for as long as you’d like. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your registered intro session time.

Raffle & Prize Giveaways
Guests will also have the chance to win a number of exciting raffle prizes. Current prizes include a Gulf Island Seaplanes round-trip flight from YVR South to Maple Bay, including a guided tasting for up to 4 guests at Blue Grouse Estate Winery and 2 rounds of golf with cart at Cowichan Golf Club; a 2-night stay at Watch Lake Lodge; and a hand-carved charcuterie board. We will also be giving away a couple of prize baskets during the event at no additional cost.
